The one comforting thought from the last 24 hours is that Chelski got knocked out of the cup by Barnsley... that and Man U lost to Harry Redknapp, again.

England's batting performance - terrible, opting for a horrendous yet all too predictable defeat in the face of a certain draw.

England's rugby performance - terrible, found wanting the face of Scottish rugged determination.

All this and Arsenal are playing Wigan today. U-(
